Personality: Certifiable. Used to having his way. A powerful man once, Upton was the leader of the west coast cartel. Nothing went on that he didn’t answer for. But one mistake after another, and Upton back stroking to fix it all, plus the guilt of what he’d done to his own wife and child… eventually he snapped. Though still it wasn’t quite obvious until he was turned. Now he’s a man obsessed. And Rose is that obsession.
Personal Background (Basic. In-depth not needed.): A small time drug dealer that worked his way up eventually to the top. At least to the top as far as a human man could go. But Upton had always had his eye on something more. He always wanted more, always wanted the best. He picked people just as he picked things, according to what could best do things for him. The fae bride he had was beautiful enough to gain him jealousy perhaps where he’d not gained respect. And Upton would settle that if he had to. The bitch off and died though and Upton was left with a daughter he’d never asked for.

Eventually he found ways to use her to his advantage too. Sadly though, Upton began to feel some remorse, some guilt not only for what he did, but for what he didn’t do, for the miserable father he’d always been. By then it was too late. By then he’d got himself so far gone, even convincing an acquaintance to turn him. Ostensibly so he could have a better fight against that fuck that stole his daughter.

He haunts the island now, popping up occasionally to torment Rose in little ways before he strikes big. And he waits for word from Sergio, knowing the demon will want to collect on favors, the many many favors the young vampire owes.

Any Training/Special Skills: Advanced senses, strength, healing and speed. Strong business sense. Expert marksman, even better now with his keener eyesight. Does a pretty decent job of acting sane, can even convince most he’s a kind loving father, concerned for his daughter’s welfare.
